If you’re considering umpiring but haven’t completed any formal online courses, these are now free on the England Hockey Hub.

1. Create your account at England Hockey’s Online Training Hub

2. Affiliate your account to Cheam as an umpire under Connections

3. Book onto the next course via Event Bookings

Level 1 Umpire Courses

You’ll complete e learning for rules and safeguarding, then join an online Level One call. This gives you your L1 – Unassessed certificate.

Once you’ve done that, we’ll get you umpiring some games. After a bit of practice, we can internally assess you pitch side, giving you L1 – Assessed, which allows you to umpire any club match.
