A European hockey event of genuine significance is coming to Surbiton Hockey Club this May. The Women’s EuroHockey Club Cup will be hosted at the club’s Sugden Road home from 17th-20th May 2018, giving people the chance to see a raft of Olympic champions and international players do battle for their clubs just weeks before the Women’s World Cup. With improving European performances over the last three seasons, the Surbiton side (which includes several Rio 2016 gold medalists and some of Great Britain’s most exciting international talent) hopes a large home crowd will help them take the next step towards European glory this season.
