Founded in 1920, Cheam Hockey Club is one of the oldest hockey clubs in Surrey. At Cheam Hockey Club we welcome new supporters, spectators and playing members of all ages and abilities! We run Ladies, Men's, Men's Vets, Mixed and Junior sides and play League and Friendly games from September to April, with occasional summer fixtures too. There is weekly training, an annual tour and many other social events organised throughout the year.

An important message about club shirts
We are soon to place an order for new playing shirts for the 2008/09 season. As some of you might already know our current supplier has ceased to produce our existing shirt. We have now found a new supplier and will be placing the order shortly. The shirt will match our existing one as closely as possible but it might not be an exact match in terms of colour and design because of the different supplier. We do however envisage that members will be able to wear the new and old shirts side by side.
Before placing the order I wanted to find out if any current members would like a new shirt. It is worth stressing that this is by no means compulsory, however this will be the new shirt from now on so if, like mine, yours is looking slightly threadbare it’s a good opportunity to get a new one!
It is unlikely that we will be able to do another order until we are into the start of the season so this is your
one and only chance to have a new shirt ready for when competitive matches start in mid September. Cost is still TBC but is likely to be between £20-£25 (this will be confirmed over the next week).

The absolute latest to get back to me is 11th July 2008. I will need the following details from you:
- Your existing shirt number (if you don’t have one let me know and one will be allocated to you)
- Size required – please see sizing chart for a guide. Men/boys use the Unisex chart and Ladies/girls use the Ladies Fit chart. You just need to supply me with the required ‘Label’ size (this should correspond to your chest/bust size).
The club will need payment up front so as soon as I have your emailed order you will need to send me a cheque. Details of where to send this to and confirmation of the cost will follow next week. Please note, once you have placed your order you will not be able to cancel/amend it.
An exciting new range of training kit is also being designed – keep an eye out on the website over the coming weeks to see what will be on offer.
