Founded in 1920, Cheam Hockey Club is one of the oldest hockey clubs in Surrey. At Cheam Hockey Club we welcome new supporters, spectators and playing members of all ages and abilities! We run Ladies, Men's, Men's Vets, Mixed and Junior sides and play League and Friendly games from September to April, with occasional summer fixtures too. There is weekly training, an annual tour and many other social events organised throughout the year.

Tony and Bunty Bennett wish all members of Cheam Hockey Club a very happy New year and thank all those involved in the running of the club for their continued help. Quiz Night
Cheam Quiz Night Feb 24th
Happy New Year everyone and I have confidence the athletes of Cheam did not indulge too much over the festive period. On Friday Feb 24th at 7:30pm, Cheam will be hosting their annual quiz which is which is always a well attended and a highlight of the social calendar. Last year we had over 90 attendees and it was a cracking night.
This is a fun event with a bit of friendly competition but not too demanding of the grey matter. So if you are interested in coming please email Brandi indicating whether you have a team (maximum 8 members) or would like to be placed in a team. Non Cheam members are welcome if you would like to bring a group down.
There are a wide variety of challenges and topics with prizes for the winners. The tickets cost £10 payable on the night and this includes a fish and chip supper, with a veggie option as well.
Good luck to everyone in their games this weekend.

Cheam Sports Club Membership Cards
All fully paid up members from last season can collect their CSC membership cards from Derry Brophy. He will be at club day so keep a look out for him. New members will receive a membership card very soon after paying their subscriptions. The card will give you reductions on purchases from the CSC bar but you must have your card with you to benefit.
Your CSC membership card will become invalid if you do not pay your membership by 31st October, only those that have paid will have their card re-activated. Yet another reason to get those subs in ASAP!
