Cheam Hockey Club and Suburban Hockey are working in partnership to bring hockey to local schools in the Cheam area. 6 local schools have been participating in the Suburban Hockey program over 8 weeks – benefitting from the skilled coaching and fun program that we are able to offer. The program culminates with the end of season tournament where all participants get the opportunity to show off the skills they have learnt. |

Thanks to all that participated in the quiz, it was a great night with special mention going to quiz master Richard for leading proceedings. The new chef Nacer had good feedback on his fish and chips and I can vouch for the lasagne. Ladies 2s were the winners on the night, taking the title from the Men’s 2s with a Colts team unfortunately finishing with the Dunces hats. Total raised by the quiz was £270 and a special note to Ben Ogden for helping to clear up the egg drop!! Brandi |

Anyone wanting to brush up on the history of Cheam Hockey Club and Cheam Sports Club can do so by reading the scans of these booklets that were produced for the clubs 60th and 75th anniversaries. There are some cracking photos and lots of interesting information about the hockey club and the sports club.
(thanks to Frosty for providing them and keeping them in such good condition)
