Cougars 4 - 4 Jaguars

With the opposition pulling out at the last minute and a surplus of players (something so rarely experienced) we decided to go ahead with a game.

The game began with Jaguars scoring a goal, followed by the Cougars, who weren't to be beaten. That brought the score to a level 1-1. Jaguars scored another run away goal (oh where have all the goalies gone!). Cougars hit back quickly to bring the score back up to a draw of 2-2.This seemed to be the theme of the day. Jaguars scoring the Cougars equalizing.

As Cougars headed for equalizing goal number 3, they were helped by two of the defending Jaguars tackling each other, mentioning no names (Maloney and Carlisle), this left a chuckling Cougar forward line, with an all but open goal.

Time was called just after score line was brought to an even 4-4.

This was a lovely social game and allowed the new players the perfect opportunity to meet, play and learn from some of the longer standing members.
