As we get closer to the start of the season we have outlined some further information to help you understand how the season is looking for our junior members.

Dates for the season
• First session of the season - Sunday 31st August 2025 at Nonsuch High School
• Midweek training sessions will start on Wednesday 17th September 2025 at Epsom College – 6:15pm to 7:45pm

Club Day – 31st August 2025 and Training Times
All Sunday training sessions will take place at Nonsuch High School for Girls. Age groups are based on age on 1st September 2025. The appropriate school year is shown below from September.

All players MUST wear shin pads and a gum shield – this is a non negotiable and your child won’t be able to play if they don’t have these with them. Make sure they also have enough water/fluids for the session too.
The coaches and managers for this season are as follows:

At the first session please ensure you check in with the manager so they can ensure everyone is in the right groups.

Membership and WhatsApp updates
• Please make sure both your details and your child’s details are up to date on Pitchero
• You can join the Junior Community. Through the community please join the relevant team groups.
• We communicate via a weekly e mail and regular WhatsApp messages.

Subscriptions
• Subscriptions are due by 30th September 2025 and payable through the Pitchero App. You should have already received a payment request to settle your child’s subscription. Subscriptions for the current year are as follows:

o Family discounts: First (most expensive member) pays full rate, each member after that receives a 20% discount – We will release the link to the form to request the discount in September so watch out for this.
o New members are able to try out 3 training sessions for free before needing to commit to becoming a member.

Kit Swap – Sunday 7th September 2025
• We have run a kit swap at the start of each season to recycle kit and allow members to reuse equipment that juniors have grown out of. If you have spare kit that your child has grown out of or isn’t using please bring it along on either 31st August or 7th September.
• The kit swap will run on Sunday 7th September 2025 at the entrance to the pitch.

 
Junior Policies
• To ensure all juniors enjoy playing hockey in a safe and fun environment for everyone, both you and your child must agree to the following policies as a condition of membership.
o Code of Conduct and training expectations
o Safeguarding & Photography
o Facemasks

So actions needed now!
• Check that both your and your child’s details are correct and up to date on Pitchero
• Are you signed up for the right WhatsApp Group?
• Make sure your child has shinpads and a gumshield that fit! A stick may help too!
• Get your child’s subscription paid before 30th September 2025 or if you qualify for family membership – log your request for this.
