I think the 'Shashi of the day' should be scared. I've heard that Goalman will be introducing some new ideas for post match voting...

And, as a goalkeeper who is prone to a few "interesting" moments during a match, I'm sure I'll find that out...

We're going to see an awful lot more of Putney with Goalman in charge.

National call up for Poland of course.

Best moment / match of last season?

Obviously it was a season of great moments, and it would be easy to say that it was the last match of the season when we knew we were undefeated champions. However, nothing will compare to the first match against OG's (it obviously had to be OG's).

The season had barely kicked into life, but both teams knew that it was a season defining game. It didn't start particularly well when we went 1-0 down early doors with me getting lobbed from a tight angle...but we won't focus on that AT ALL! The tone of the match was set quite superbly only minutes after conceding when Goalman almost broke the OG's back board with a thunderous strike - game on! We went on to win the match 3-2 and the sight of the oppo literally on the floor, as if they'd just lost a world cup final, was one of the most rewarding feelings I've had on a hockey pitch!

...and the worst?

Epsom away - it was just an awful match and I still don't know how we walked away with the 3 points. Cheeky.

3s player to look out for this season?

Johnny will no doubt have a stormer of a season again along with James Morris.

There has been a lot of talk about the dehumanisation of 'keepers recently. Are goalkeepers really people too? Or are they just targets?

7 - Massive hockey and cricket fan, absolutely awful at horses, and I love Waitrose so much that I'm happy to wear Waitrose branded clothing... But can't go higher than a 7 because I can't tie a Windsor knot to save my life.
