Cheam Mixed XI

Report: A very hot day for November saw Cheam's mixed side effortlessly dominate Epsom's nine strong mixed side(with Gary) The game was very well executed and cheam obviously controlled the game. Cheam were very domineering and flooded Epsom with an extraordinary amount of attacks, The first goal of course was from me where i tidily put away a rebound from Julio's pass/shot. The first half was the a blur of attacks and the occasional break from Epsom where our mixed defense carefully dealed with the attacks.

The Second half seemed to give a boost to Cheam's efforts where We saw seven goals. We again kept up our wave of attacks we finally broke down there defense where i managed to nutmeg the SAV Meister, then after another 2 goals from me we saw Omar cricket style nutmeg the keeper Sav was almost in tears and left perplexed. Then after some amazing runs from Mario he had a big hit from the top of the D almost obliterating the already worn backboard leaving Sav crying in his corner. Sparky made a couple of good saves and he and the defense were rarely needed as the midfield controlled the attacks with great runs from Mario and Duncan. As well great runs from Julio and Sylvana. Steph controlled her defence very well when needed and Sinead, Bob and Trish kept a very strong back line. Then after a reverse flick from Mario which just before it went off for a 16, tom managed to smash the ball mid-air into the post and somehow into the goal. After everyone had recovered from the shock of my goal tom placed a ball to Julio who had found himself open on the P spot carefully angled his stick to deflect it majestically over the keeper into the the back netting. The game was won, well done everyone very well played.
