The South Over 50’s squad - for which our very own Frosty (in the orange pads) was selected - took part in the annual Regional Tournament at Wakefield HC last weekend 25th & 26th April.

Teams from North, South, East, West, Midlands, Wales, Scotland and UK Armed Forces took part.

Having won their group on the Saturday, the South beat the West in the semi-final and beat the Midlands 3-1 in a cracking final on the Sunday.

Having alternated goalkeeping responsibility with Jon Walters of Barnes HC, Frosty achieved a shut-out against Wales on Saturday and confined the West to one goal against the South in Sunday’s semi-final.
