Despite the rain, 18 hockey players turned up to compete for a miniature bar of chocolate and the chance to prove that hockey isn’t the only sporting talent they possess.
It was a close contest with the Sabatini’s proving a tough team to beat, but after 3 gruelling hours it was the strength and depth of team Laver than won the day – who did pick the teams??
Far more importantly £90 was raised for charity with a cheque on its way to the Royal Marsden Hospital.
