Did you miss it? New Hockey Rules Now in Force

In case you missed it, 1st July 2015 was an important date.

First, it arrived a second later than normal (lie-in woohoo!), after a 'leap second' was added to 30 June 2015.

Second, it is the date that the new hockey rules came into force. These new rules include playing the ball with the stick above the shoulder, abolishing long corners and getting a 2 minute sin bin for a green card, among others.
