Cheam Hockey Club are excited to offer a chance to introduce a Golden Goal competition for home match days. It's a great opportunity to raise funds for the club, whilst also giving it's members and supporters a chance to win some money.

The rules are simple, but you have to be in it to win it.

Rules..

The Golden Goal will be the time of the first goal at the first home game of the day;
The match clock will be run by the administrator [Joe Oddy];
The first goal can be scored by either side;
The minute the Golden Goal is scored will indicate which person has won the Golden Goal competition;
Names will be allocated randomly against the numbers 1-70 using a random number generator.* ;
The numbers 1-70 correspond to minutes 1-70 of a hockey match;
If the Golden Goal is scored on a minute which has not been allocated to any person, there will be no winner and Cheam HC will keep the full takings;
If no goal is scored in the first match of the day, then the Golden Goal competition will be rolled over to the next match day;
Should there be no games played at home on a Saturday for which tickets have been sold (due to postponement or cancellation for adverse weather for example) then the Golden Goal competition will be rolled over to the next match day.
The administrator, Joe Oddy, will not be allowed to enter the competition.

The winner of the Golden Goal competition will win 50% of the takings for that week.

Example; if 70 tickets are sold and the takings from the competition = £70, the winner will receive £35.

Open to members of Cheam Sports Club only.
